At the end of our class we chant a blessing song to honour ourselves and each other for the practice. The song is "May the Long Time Sun Shine Upon You." This song was written by Mike Heron from folk band Incredible String Band in the late 1960's.
May the long time sun shine upon you,

And the pure light within you,
Guide your way on.
It's very calming and soothing to sing this beautiful affirmation to everyone in the room, to yourself and send the pure light to anyone who needs it.
